Delhi Liquor Policy: AAP MP Sanjay Singh Sent To ED Custody Till October 10

The Enforcement Directorate arrested Aam Admi Party MP Sanjay Singh on Wednesday in connection with its money laundering probe linked to the 2021-22 Delhi Excise policy case.

A day after getitng arrested by the federal probe agency Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection with Delhi liquor policy case, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh has been sent to the central agency's custody till October 10. Earlier today, the AAP leader was produced before a court.

With this, Singh has become the third person from Delhi's ruling party to be arrested by the agency in over a year after Manish Sisodia and Satyendar Jain.

According to the Rajya Sabha MP, his arrest was an act of injustice by Prime Minister Narendra Modi whose party was going to lose the next Lok Sabha elections.

"This is Modiji's injustice. He will lose election, he is losing election," he told journalists while being produced before Special Judge M K Nagpal.
