In a disturbing incident that has recently come to light, a man in the national capital was captured on camera allegedly engaging in a reprehensible act involving a stray dog. The Delhi Police have responded to this distressing situation by filing an FIR against the accused, prompted by a complaint filed by an animal rights NGO. According to the NGO, this is not the first time the accused has been involved in such activities, and the viral video was recorded from beneath the door of his warehouse in the Subhash Nagar area.

The complaint, filed by People For Animals, the NGO in question, detailed previous complaints and video evidence against the accused. They approached the police to initiate a case, providing all available information to support their request for an FIR. It was only after senior officer intervention that the FIR was registered. However, despite the FIR, the accused has not been apprehended as of yet.

The incident, which occurred on September 6, saw the accused allegedly sexually assaulting the stray dog while forcibly confiscating the phone of the individual who recorded the video. Fortunately, with the involvement of the police, the mobile phone was eventually returned.

Subsequently, on September 13, another incident involving the accused and the same stray dog was reported, prompting immediate action by the animal rights advocates who contacted the police.

Animal rights advocates have taken to social media, including X (formerly Twitter), to express their strong condemnation of this disturbing incident. A video has surfaced allegedly featuring an individual named Pawan Malhotra involved in compromising and deeply troubling behavior towards the dog. The distressing footage captures the man in a semi-naked state engaging in reprehensible acts, sparking widespread concerns about the safety and well-being of animals in our society.

However, the police have highlighted the need to establish the identity of the individual seen in the viral video before taking further action.

"A FIR under sections 268, 377, 428, 429 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and 11 Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act has been registered against the accused on September 15 at the Rajouri Garden police station. Since the face of the accused is unclear in the video, we will ascertain his identity first. Further course of action will be taken per the law," stated a senior police officer.
