During the proceedings before Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Harjeet Singh Jaspal, the city police unequivocally asserted the establishment of a "prime facie" case against Singh and his co-accused, the suspended WFI assistant secretary, Vinod Tomar, as PTI reported.
In a compelling argument, Public Prosecutor Atul Srivastava, representing the police, emphasized the necessity of charging the accused individuals according to the offences outlined in the charge sheet. The charges are believed to include violations under sections 354 (assault or criminal force on a woman with the intent to outrage her modesty), 354-A (sexual harassment), and 354-D (stalking) of the Indian Penal Code.
