Employees Who Will Work For Citizens Will Be Rewarded; Others Will Be Punished: Chouhan

While there are collectors like Vikas Mishra in Dindori district who work day and night, serious complaints have been received against Niwari district collector and tehsildar, said Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan announcing removal of the two officials with immediate effect.

Serious complaints have been received against Niwari district collector Tarun Bhatnagar and Tehsildar Sandeep Sharma, therefore, they are removed with immediate effect, the Chief Minister announced.

Our government is establishing good governance in the state, he said by adding that employees who will work for the welfare of people in the state will be rewarded and those who won't work for the welfare of citizens will be punished.

I am overwhelmed by love, affection and honour given by the Khangar community by offering me a turban, he said by adding that it is now my duty to take full care of this honor and affection of Khangar community. The demands made by them will be fulfilled on priority, said Chouhan participating at the Garhkundar festival in Niwari district.

There is no ruler in a democracy, and we all are public servants. We are here to serve others, said Chouhan taking note exemplary work done by Maharaja Khet Singh for the public. He was a good ruler who devoted his life in public welfare activities, Chouhan added.

Chouhan announced construction of a community building in the name of Maharaja Khet Singh. He said that the Gajanand temple complex will be developed. He said that on the birth anniversary of Maharaja Khet Singh, officers and employees of the Khangar society would be given optional leave.

Soon arrangements will be made to provide silver anklets to Khangar community members which are worn by the daughters during their wedding ceremony, he announced.

Chief Minister begin the programme by offering Kanya Pujan and released a magazine of Khangar Samaj. The festival is celebrated every year in the memory of Maharaja Khet Singh.

In-charge of the district and Minister for Public Works, Cottage and Village Industries Gopal Bhargava said that the demands of Garhkundar area will be met on priority.
