A tragic incident unfolded on Friday night near Sidhrawali village in Gurugram as an oil tanker collided with a car and a pickup van on the Delhi-Jaipur Highway, resulting in the loss of four lives. The oil tanker, en route from Jaipur, broke the divider and first collided with a car carrying passengers, presumably on their way to Jaipur. The impact led to a fire as CNG cylinders inside the car ignited, claiming the lives of all three occupants, as reported by ANI.
Subsequently, the oil tanker continued its destructive path, colliding with a pickup van on the highway, causing the driver of the van to lose his life instantly. The Bilaspur police station's investigation officer, Vinod Kumar, provided insights into the grim scene, stating, "We received information about the accident on the Delhi-Jaipur Highway. Upon reaching the spot, we discovered a car engulfed in flames, resulting in the tragic death of three individuals. Additionally, we learned that the oil tanker had collided with a pickup van, leading to the immediate demise of the van's driver."
In a disheartening turn of events, the driver of the oil tanker fled the scene, prompting ongoing efforts by law enforcement to apprehend the responsible individual.
