Emmanuel Macron, the chief guest at this year's Republic Day parade, has announced a goal for France to host over 30,000 Indian students by 2030. The French President expressed determination to achieve this ambitious target.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Macron stated, "30,000 Indian students in France in 2030. It's a very ambitious target, but I am determined to make it happen."

Macron outlined measures to support Indian students in pursuing education in France. He mentioned the development of the network of Alliances françaises, with new centers for learning French. Additionally, international classes will be established to accommodate students who may not be fluent in French.

"We are creating international classes which will allow students, who do not necessarily speak French, to join our universities," Macron explained.

To further facilitate the process, the French President emphasized easing the visa process for former Indian students who had previously studied in France.
