Gautam Buddh Nagar police have adjusted their traffic advisory to accommodate the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show (UP ITS) and the MotoGP race in Greater Noida, both running until September 25. The revised advisory alters the restrictions imposed on the movement of goods carriers along the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway and the Yamuna Expressway.

Starting from Friday and continuing through Monday, the no-entry order for goods carriers will be in effect from 6 am to 12 pm and again from 3 pm to 10 pm. It's important to note that this restriction excludes vehicles carrying essential items such as milk, vegetables, and medicines, PTI reported.

This move aims to manage traffic flow and ensure smooth operations during these two significant international events. The amended order applies to all categories of goods carriers, from heavy to light.

Any violations of this order will result in punishment under Section 32 of the Police Act 1861. To ease congestion, the police have also recommended alternative routes for goods carriers and heavy vehicles entering the district, directing them to use National Highway 24 or 9 instead of the expressways.
