Gorsam Kora In Arunachal Pradesh Marks 'Festival Of Friendship' Between India And Bhutan

The Gorsam Kora Festival held in Arunachal Pradesh between March 18 and March 21, marked the 'Friendship of Festival' between India and Bhutan.

Displaying the rich culture and religious heritage of the region, the event saw pilgrims from both India and Bhutan pour in to offer prayers, according to a report by India Today.

The festival, with support from the Indian Army, was part of the government’s ‘Vibrant Village Program. It also noted prayers at Khinzemane Holy Tree.

 

The festival was attended by numerous pilgrims and Lamas from Bhutan, Tawang and nearby regions.
