At least 10 people have been reportedly killed after a car rammed into a trailer in Gujarat’s Nadiad on Wednesday. The incident is said to have taken place on Ahmedabad-Vadodara Expressway.
One injured in the accident is said to be in critical condition.
Reports said the car was coming back to Ahmedabad from Vadodara.
The slain were all occupants of the car. Out of the 10 killed in the accident, eight were reportedly found dead on the spot, while two succumbed to their injuries while being taken to the hospital.
Following the incident, two ambulances reached the spot, along with the Express Highway patrolling team, reports said. The videos on social media showed huge congestion on the express highway due to the accident.
The police have launched an investigation to ascertain the reason of accident.
