A helicopter travelling from Mumbai to Hyderabad crashed in the Mulshi tehsil area of Pune on Saturday afternoon.

According to PTI, all four occupants on board survived the crash, although they may have sustained injuries. "The captain of the helicopter is being taken to hospital, while the other three are stable," an official said, as quoted by PTI. "The helicopter belongs to the Global Vectra company. The cause of the crash is yet to be ascertained."

The incident occurred near Paud, where the helicopter went down. 

On August 7, a helicopter in Nepal crashed in the mountains just northwest of capital Kathmandu. The crash resulted in the loss of five lives, including four men and one woman. 

Police and army rescuers reached the area and two rescue helicopters were also sent to assist in the operation.
