The police tried to control the situation by lathi-charging, but the situation got worse. The protesters went up to the court. Subsequently, clash broke out between lawyers and the police as well as the protesters on the court premises, the Dainik Bhaskar report added.
Sudhir Joshi, additional superintendent of police, was among those injured in the clash, the report added.
