"No matter how many corrupt people come together, it is honesty which is going to win at the end of everything," Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Sunday.

The Prime Minister made this remark while addressing the people after laying the foundation stone of a barrage over the Narmada River and flagging of Antyodaya Express between Udhna in Surat and Jaynagar in Bihar on the second day of his visit to poll-bound Gujarat.

Prime Minister Modi said it is the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) Government which introduced the 100% neem coating of urea for the benefit of the farmers.

"We decided that 100% neem coating of urea has to be done so that it can only be used in farming and not in chemical factories. Neem coating of urea helped farmers and stopped corruption as well as theft," he said.

He also hit out at the former United Progressive Alliance (UPA) Government at the Centre and said they never introduced this technique and only helped corrupt people to make money from the urea subsidised for the farmers.

"Even the previous government knew about this technique but still they didn't do anything. They only allowed 30 % neem coating of urea and paved the way for corruption by leaving the rest. After this neem coating, the urea cannot be used in any factory except in farming," the Prime Minister said.

"No matter how many corrupt people come together, at the end of everything it is the honesty that will win. Honesty can never be defeated," he added.

Praising the Railway Ministry for their commendable initiative of introducing the Antyodaya Express, the Prime Minister said the new train will make it easier for people from Uttar Pradesh and Bihar to go home for the 'Chhath Puja'.

Stressing on the necessity of water for survival, Prime Minister Modi assured that the barrage over Narmada River will be completed on time.

"I assure you that this project will be completed on time and will solve the issue of water scarcity in the region," he said.

He urged the fisherman to avail the benefit of the Centre's Blue Revolution programme.

"I want to appeal to the fisherman to take maximum advantage of the initiative. We will provide boats to the fisherman, so that they can do fishing beyond 12 km nautical mile, cold storage facility is also available there," he said.

Earlier in the day, the Prime Minsiter slammed the UPA Government over the health policy.

He also launched the Intensified Mission Indradhanush to accelerate the progress towards the goal of full immunisation coverage.
