Do you agree with Outlook’s Issue of the Year?
Time magazine, our venerable role model, has set a global trend, selecting a Person of the Year for its yearend issue. We at Outlook have, however, decided to settle for something more substantive from now on to encapsulate the 12 months by settling for an Issue of the Year.
In a year that saw SC decriminalizing homosexuality, #MeToo in Indian media, farmers’ distress and govt crackdown on dissent, choosing a topic that defines 2018 was not an easy one. However, after a lot of brainstorming, we zeroed in on ‘Menstruation’. Yes, that’s the Issue of the Year. Do you think it was the right choice?
