Ninety-three days into the war, more than 22,000 people in Gaza have been killed. Israel's military said it has dismantled Hamas's military capabilities in northern Gaza and is now focusing on doing the same in the central and southern parts of the enclave, where it plans to take a different approach to destroying Hamas.

The latest updates are:

1. An Israeli air attack killed at least six people in Jenin in the occupied West Bank, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health. Witnesses say human remains are scattered at the scene, as per reports.

2. Hani al-Masdar, who coached Palestine's Olympic football team, was killed in an Israeli air raid in Gaza, the Palestinian Football Association reported.

3. The Israeli army says it has "completed the dismantling" of Hamas's command structure in the northern Gaza Strip. Army spokesman Daniel Hagari told reporters that Palestinian militants are now operating in the area only sporadically and "without commanders".

4. Gaza is experiencing “deliberate starvation not famine,” according to Tlaleng Mofokeng, the UN special rapporteur on the right to health, who added in a statement that “an immediate ceasefire” is needed.

5. US Secretary of State Antony Blinken is in Jordan after a visit to Turkey during a Middle East tour that will also take him to Israel and the occupied West Bank.

6. France’s foreign minister told her Iranian counterpart in a phone call that “Iran and its affiliates” must stop “destabilising acts” that could lead to a broader conflict in the Middle East amid Israel’s offensive on Gaza.

7. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in a short video statement that Israel must not stop its war on Hamas until all its goals are achieved.

8. UNICEF announced the delivery last week of 600,000 doses of routine vaccines for children in Gaza in cooperation with the World Health Organization and the UN agency for Palestinian refugees.

9. More than 8,000 Palestinians in Gaza are missing, presumed buried under collapsed buildings, and tens of thousands have been displaced, according to a statement from the spokesperson of Palestinian Civil Defence in Gaza.

10. At least 22,722 people have been killed – including 9,600 children – in Israeli attacks on Gaza since October 7. Some 1,139 people were killed in Hamas’s October 7 attack on Israel.
