Jammu and Kashmir Police on Monday filed FIR in an incident in which one youth was wounded allegedly in the Army firing, the police said.

Kashmir Police Chief Munir Ahmad Khan told Outlook that the police have not filed FIR against anyone. He said the police have filed the FIR about the incident.
Police sources say the Army patrol came under stone pelting after a search operation in Redwani area of Kulgam in south Kashmir on Monday morning.
The police said the Army's Ist Rashtriya Rifles opened fire to disperse the protesters leading to injury of one youth identified as Arif Ahmad Lone.
On January 27, the police filed FIR against the Army after the troopers fired at the protesters when they refused to remove a flag in Shopian.
