Security forces thwarted an infiltration attempt resulting in the death of one terrorist at the International Border. The operation unfolded during the early hours in the Khour sector of Akhnoor, where a group of four heavily armed terrorists was spotted attempting to cross into the Indian side.
According to officials, the troops on duty responded with effective firepower against the infiltrating terrorists, managing to hit one of them, who subsequently fell to the ground.
Despite the successful engagement, the associates of the deceased terrorist managed to drag his body back across the IB.
