As an encounter broke out in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district between the security forces and terrorists on Thursday, an unidentified terrorist was killed, officials said on Friday.
According to the officials, the terrorist was killed after a gun battle broke out at New Colony in Arihal area of Pulwama on Thursday after security forces launched an anti-militancy operation in the orchards
One terrorist was shot dead as the operation continued, officials said.
The identity and group affiliation of the slain terrorist were not known immediately, they said.
