In an untoward incident, over 10 workers got trapped under hundreds of sacks in a warehouse located in Karnataka's Vijaypura industrial area as the sacks filled with grains overturned after a storage unit collapsed on Monday.
As per the videos that surfaced on social media, bulldozers are deployed to rescue the trapped workers. It has been reported that police were also present at the warehouse supervise the rescue operation.
This incident was reported within days since the culmination of the arduous rescue operation to extract 41 workers who were trapped in a collapsed tunnel in Uttarakhand's Uttarkashi and were rescued after 17 days.
In the final stretch of the rescue operation, rat-hole miners were used to rescue the trapped workers.
A section of the Silkyara-Barkot tunnel had collapsed on November 12 trapping the 41 workers inside the under-construction structure. All of them were finally rescued on November 28.
