Kerala: Hotel Owner In Malappuram Found Dead, Body Parts Found In Trolley Bag; 3 Suspects Arrested

In an untoward incident, a hotel owner from Kerala's Malappuram was found dead while his body parts were found dismembered in a trolley bag.

The incident took place at Attapady Ghat road in the Palakkad district of Kerala.

It has been reported that the deceased, identified as Siddique, had been missing since last Thursday, for which a complaint was filed by his son.

According to police, three suspects were taken into custody in connection with the case.

Investigations in the case were carried out based on the missing complaint.

As per Malappuram SP Sujith Das, the murder took place between May 18 and 19.

One of the persons in custody was identified as an employee at the deceased's hotel, while another suspect was a female, a friend of the employee.

Police said the accused were absconding and were detained from Chennai with the help of the Railway Protection Force.

Meanwhile, the post-mortem of the deceased will be conducted at Kozhikode medical college.

The reason for the murder was yet to be known.
