Light rain was recorded in several parts of Rajasthan in the last 24 hours, officials said on Friday.
According to the Meteorological Department, the mercury is likely to drop by three to five degrees Celsius over the next two to three days.
According to the Met Centre in Jaipur, light rains triggered by western disturbance occurred at some places in Jodhpur, Bikaner, Jaipur, and Bharatpur divisions in the last 24 hours ending at 8.30 am on Friday.
Nokha in Bikaner received 6 mm of rainfall, followed by Mahwa and Dausa (2 mm each) during this period, it said.
More showers are expected in Ganganagar, Hanumangarh, Churu, Jhunjhunu, Sikar, Alwar, Bharatpur, and Dholpur districts on Friday while the weather will remain dry in other parts of the state, the Met office said.
