A massive fire broke out at three different shops in Pune on Satara Road in the early hours of Monday, killing at least two residents. Seven fire tenders have been rushed to the spot to help douse the fire.
According to reports, the fire brigade control room was alerted about the fire at 2:22 am on Monday.
A report by India Today stated that the shop, which sold home and kitchen appliances, and mobile phones, was engulfed in a massive blaze that resulted in explosions that shook the two-story building.
The fire is reportedly under control and the injured have been rushed to the hospital for treatment.
