Assembly Elections 2023 Live: BJP Raises Corruption And Law-And-Order In Rajasthan As Congress Invokes Caste Census, Welfare Schemes

With only three days left to go for Rajasthan to vote for their next government, the BJP and Congress are deploying their big guns on the campaigning trail with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah and senior Congress leaders Sonia Gandhi, Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi holding a dozen rallies and roadshows in the poll-bound state. Rajasthan and Telangana go to polls on November 25 and November 30 respectively.

In Telangana too, election campaigning is in full swing with political heavyweights like Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitaraman and Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, BRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao and his party working president K Tarakarama Rao holding rallies in various constituencies of the state. With campaigning for Rajasthan nearing an end, national-level leaders are expected to land in Telangana for a final push. 

The Assembly Elections in five states -- Mizoram, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Telangana -- is being seen as a litmus test for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections where PM Modi will be eyeing a third term amid strong opposition from the newly formed INDIA alliance. The results for elections in all five states will be declared on December 3.
