Following a belligerent attack from the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), a group of Naxals ran away towards the dense forest of Bijapur in Chhattisgarh's Dantewada.
The encounter between the (CISF) personnel and Naxals ended after the CISF used bombs and hand grenades.
As of now, the situation is under control and an alert has been issued in the area.
Earlier on Thursday, security forces had arrested a Naxal from the forest area of Bijapur's Basaguda. Detonator, wires and other equipment were also recovered from him.
