Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal recently sought the support of Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge and former Member of Parliament Rajiv Gandhi for the ongoing ordinance row over the Centre's demand to take control of the administrative services in the capital.
Delhi Congress Chief Anil Chaudhary made a comment on Kejriwal's past relationship with the Bharatiya Janata Party and claimed that when the opposition parties were together, he allegedly kept praising BJP. Chaudhary added that he wants Kejriwal to realise his mistake in doing that.
Anil Chaudhary told the media, "Congress high command will take a decision on whether they will meet Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal or not. When all opposition parties were together, he kept praising BJP, Arvind Kejriwal should realise his mistake."
Arvind Kejriwal started to tour around the country on May 23 to seek support from opposition leaders against the Centre's ordinance to control the transfer and posting of the bureaucrats of Delhi. So far he has met West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, former Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) supremo Sharad Pawar, Bihar CM Nitish Kumar and his deputy Tejashwi Yadav.
