The incident prompted a swift response from a quick-thinking passenger who successfully utilized a fire safety cylinder to bring the flames under control, allowing all travelers to evacuate the affected coach safely, according to media reports.

The express train, en route from Kanpur-Anwarganj to Kasganj, faced an unexpected challenge when a brake failure occurred due to a pressure leak in the fourth compartment behind the engine. This led to the emission of smoke near Subhanpur village. Fortunately, there have been no reported casualties or property damage at this time.
