Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to launch the 'Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra,' a nationwide initiative aimed at ensuring the widespread implementation of the government's flagship schemes in 2.7 lakh panchayats by January 25, 2024. As part of this two-month-long campaign, Modi will flag off Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) vans to cover a vast area, ensuring the timely delivery of scheme benefits to targeted sections of the population.

During the Yatra, Modi will kick off a Rs 24,000-crore scheme for the holistic development of Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTG) and release the 15th installment of the Rs 18,000 crore PM-KISAN scheme. The outreach will extend to both rural and urban areas, with a focus on informing people about the accomplishments of flagship programs.

The campaign, commencing on November 15 and concluding on January 25, will cover 2.7 lakh gram panchayats and approximately 15,000 urban locations. The IEC vans, equipped for direct interaction with the public, will disseminate information about various schemes, such as housing, drinking water, and financial inclusion.

Jharkhand will witness the flagging off of 19 vans, with the Prime Minister launching 5 to 7 of them in Khunti, covering 226 gram panchayats in nine districts. The vans, numbering around 2800 nationwide, will engage in a two-month-long effort to enroll potential beneficiaries, particularly in tribal areas across 21 states.

The vans will make strategic stops, allowing for two to three hours at specific locations to ensure the effective communication of central government scheme benefits. This collaborative effort between central and state governments will incorporate regional language movies in the vans to attract people, with an accompanying app to track public reactions.
