With just 11 days left for the consecration of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is starting a special ritual from today from Panchvati dham in Maharashtra's Nashik.
Posting a video message, PM Modi said on X that he is fortunate to be getting to witness the auspicious occasion of consecration, adding that the Lord has made him "an instrument to represent all the people of India during the consecration."
"Keeping this in mind, I am starting a special ritual of 11 days from today. I am seeking blessings from all the people. At this moment, it is very difficult to express my feelings in words, but I have tried from my side…," PM Modi said on X.
In the audio message PM Modi that it is difficult to articulate one's sentiments at this time but he is making an attempt. "I am emotional. First time in life, I am experiencing such feelings," he said.
Officials said PM Modi will be following the arduous guidelines detailed in scriptures related to the 'Pran Pratishtha' ceremony.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be visiting Nashik today to inaugurate the 27th National Youth Festival and later launch development projects worth over Rs 30,500 crore in Maharashtra, including India's longest sea bridge 'Atal Setu'.
The Mumbai Trans-harbour link (MTHL), now named 'Atal Bihari Vajpayee Sewari-Nhava Sheva Atal Setu', has been constructed at a cost of over Rs 17,840 crore. PM Modi had laid the foundation stone of the bridge in December 2016. It is the longest bridge in India and also the longest sea bridge in India.
