Prime Minister Narendra Modi strongly criticized opposition parties for their protests in Parliament during a BJP parliamentary party address on Tuesday.

He asserted that their conduct would lead to a decrease in their numbers in the 2024 Lok Sabha polls, while the BJP would gain in strength.

Expressing his concern, PM Modi addressed what he deemed as "attempts" to justify the Parliament security breach, describing them as worrisome. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi conveyed the Prime Minister's remarks to reporters.

The Prime Minister's comments come in response to Rahul Gandhi, the Congress leader, attributing the Parliament breach on December 13 to unemployment and rising prices. Two protesters had jumped into the lower house chamber, releasing smoke cans during the incident.

PM Modi emphasized that everyone who believes in democracy and democratic values should collectively condemn the events. He said, "How can a party believing in democratic values overtly or covertly justify it," as reported by BJP leader Ravi Shankar Prasad.

PM Modi suggested that opposition parties, rattled by their recent defeats in assembly polls, were disrupting Parliament in frustration. He urged BJP members to maintain restraint and adhere to democratic norms.

As INDIA bloc parties convened on Tuesday to strategize against the BJP for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, Modi asserted that they aim to overthrow his government. In response, he emphasized that his government's goal is to ensure a bright future for the country.

Furthermore, Modi advised BJP MPs to visit border villages after the parliamentary session.
