A recent report from the Juvenile Justice Board has revealed that the accused class XI student who was arrested last week in connection with the murder of Pradyuman- a class- II boy of Ryan International School knew each other well.
According to a report in The Times of India, the minor accused is said to have told members of the juvenile justice board that he used to go to piano classes with Pradyuman in the Bhondsi school and on the fateful morning of September 8, he had “easily coaxed” him to go to the school’s washroom with him, where he slit his throat and killed him.
Pradyuman’s parents also confirmed to TOI that the two (Pradyuman and the accused class XI student ) had been going to piano classes for the last two years.
During the CBI interrogation, the accused confessed to his crime to the CBI in front of his father. However, the father later claimed that his child is innocent. He also alleged that the CBI is torturing his son under the pretext of interrogation.
Pradyuman, a class II student, was found dead in the school bathroom with his throat slit by a sharp-edged weapon on the morning of September 8.
On Wednesday, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) arrested a Class XI student in connection with the killing of the seven-year-old boy. The minor accused admitted his crime saying that he had killed Pradyuman to delay the exams and parent-teacher meeting.
Earlier, the Gurgaon Police that probed the murder pinned the blame on school bus conductor Ashok Kumar who was arrested the day Pradyuman's body was found.
The police, however, later, also detained two Ryan school officials along with the Principal for questioning.
