Chief Minister M K Stalin launched six key projects undertaken by the Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority on Wednesday. The collective value of these projects amounts to Rs 150 crore.

Among these initiatives is the development of Kasimedu beach, a project worth Rs 8.65 crore that aims to enhance the aesthetic appeal of North Chennai. Additionally, plans include the construction of a new bus stand at Venbakkam in Chengalpet district, allocated a budget of Rs 97 crore. Simultaneously, the Ambattur bus stand is set to undergo an upgrade, with an investment of Rs 13.85 crore.

The commencement of work on a rehabilitation center for differently-abled individuals and a dialysis center in Kondithope, costing Rs 11.50 crore, is also on the horizon. Chief Minister Stalin kicked off the proceedings for a new park at Koyambedu Road Junction, a project valued at Rs 10.30 crore. Furthermore, he inaugurated the initiation of work on an indoor stadium near Mundaka Kanniyamman Temple in Mylapore, with a budget of Rs 8.75 crore.

Chief Minister Stalin, demonstrating modern governance, laid the foundation stones for these projects through a video conferencing session conducted from the secretariat.
