In a distressing incident in Firozabad, Uttar Pradesh, a 12-year-old boy found himself at the center of a harrowing spectacle. Suspected of involvement in the theft of money from a road-side tea stall, the boy was subjected to a shocking display of vigilante justice.
A widely circulated video captures the heart-wrenching scene, revealing the boy naked and bound to a pillar, struggling amidst his tears while onlookers stand by. The incident unfolded on a Monday morning, prompting swift action from the police.
The young boy, reportedly between 10 and 12 years old, not only endured physical injuries to his arm and back but also suffered the profound trauma of public humiliation. The Superintendent of Police for Firozabad City, Sarvesh Kumar Mishra, took prompt action after the video went viral, emphasizing that the child is now under counseling and care, NDTV reported.
Three individuals, including a father-son duo, have been apprehended by the police in connection with the incident. The legal process is underway, with a police case already filed.
Narrating the ordeal, the boy's mother explained that accusations arose when money went missing from a nearby tea stall. Falsely implicating her son, the local residents subjected him to a brutal beating. The mother, upon learning of the situation, rushed to the scene, questioning the validity of the accusations and the absence of stolen money. Despite her pleas, the unjust beating persisted.
