Earthquake Of 6.6-Magnitude Strikes Afghanistan, Tremors Also Felt In India And Pakistan

A 6.6-magnitude earthquake struck northern Afghanistan on Tuesday night, according to National Center for Seismology (NCS). Tremors were also felt in India and Pakistan.

The NCS said the earthquake struck around Fayzabad in northern Afghanistan near the border with Tajikistan. It occured at the depth of 156 km at 10:17 pm.

In India, tremors were felt in Delhi-National Capital Region (Delhi-NCR) and Jammu and Kashmir.
