Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has revealed plans for the construction of a state guest house near the upcoming grand temple of Lord Ram in Ayodhya. The announcement follows the successful efforts of Chief Minister Dhami, who secured land allocation from the Uttar Pradesh government for the project. The Uttar Pradesh Housing and Development Council has allotted a significant 4700.23 square meters of land for the Uttarakhand state guest house in Ayodhya.

The Chief Minister's Office emphasized the collaborative nature of the initiative, stating, "As a result of the special efforts of the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, the Uttar Pradesh government has allotted land for the state guest house in Ayodhya." The Uttarakhand government is set to oversee the construction of the guest house on the allocated land.

In addition to this development, preparations for the Pran-Pratishtha (consecration) ceremony of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya are in full swing. Vedic rituals for the consecration will commence on January 16, a week prior to the main ceremony scheduled for January 22. The chief priest for the ceremony, Lakshmi Kant Dixit from Varanasi, is set to conduct the essential rituals during the consecration ceremony.

During the period from January 14 to January 22, Ayodhya will observe the Amrit Mahotsav, with a highlight being the 1008 Hundi Mahayagya. This auspicious event will include the participation of thousands of devotees, who will also be provided with meals during the ceremony.
