There are reports of a pair of houses collapsing on the outskirts of Kathgodam after heavy rains brought floods to parts of Haldwani.

With several cars stranded due to bad weather and damaged roads, the residents had a difficult time getting to Kotdwar and Duguada and that has led to several people walking between the two places enduring rain and darkness during the night. At Lalpul, just south of Siddhbali Temple, there was a large stonefall that led to road closures.
