A wall collapsed in Haridwar, Uttarakhand on Tuesday killing six kiln workers and injuring several others.
The structure was part of a brick kiln where the labourers worked in Lahboli village of Haridwar.
According to reports, the police PRO said, “We received information at around 8.30 am that the wall of a brick kiln had collapsed in Lahboli village under Manglaur police station. At least six people have been confirmed dead, while several others have sustained injuries. They have been rushed to a hospital. SSP Pramendra Dobhal is at the spot."
According to PTI, the labourers were working at the brick kiln when the wall collapsed.
"We are looking into the circumstances that led to the accident. Tough legal action will be taken against whoever is found responsible for it," the police officer added.
