Congress' Karnataka chief DK Shivakumar on Tuesday had a narrow escape after bird hit the aircraft he was travelling in mid-air.
Following the incident, the helicopter made an emergency landing at the HAL airport, PTI report said.

Congress leader Shivkumar was on the way to Mulbagal in Kolar district to attend a public meeting.
PTI report said the chopper flew from Jakkur airport in Bengaluru but was hit by a kite.
“In the impact of the crash, the glass broke into pieces. The chopper had to make an emergency landing at the HAL airport,” it mentioned.
Along with DK Shivakumar and the pilot, a journalist of a Kannada news channel who was interviewing him was inside the helicopter, it said.
Shivakumar, the crew and others in the helicopter are all safe, it said.
Later, Shivkumar also posted on social media about his well-being, saying: “…travelling to Mulbagal by road now”.
