Watch: Rahul Gandhi Dances With Members Of Toda Tribe During Tamil Nadu Visit

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi participated in a dance form of the Toda tribe while wearing the traditional attire of the tribal community. Gandhi held hands with the members of the tribal community as he danced along with them.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, who is visiting the states of Tamil Nadu and Kerala for two days participated in a tribal dance on Saturday with members of the Toda Tribe at Muthundu village near Ooty. 

The Congress MP participated in the dance form wearing the traditional attire of the tribal community. In a video clip shared by ANI, Gandhi could be seen holding hands with the members of the community as he dances along with them.

On Saturday morning, Rahul Gandhi arrived in Coimbatore and visited his parliamentary constituency Wayanad. It is the first time he has visited Wayanad since he was reinstated as a member of the Lok Sabha after the Supreme Court stayed his conviction in the case of the Modi surname.

Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee Working President VT Siddique spoke about Gandhi's first visit to Wayand after he regained his MP status, he reportedly said, "Rahul Gandhi will be coming to Wayanad on August 12. We are going to arrange a warm reception for him and the preparations have already started. There is a district Congress Committee meeting tomorrow. Rahul Gandhi will be present for it on August 12 and 13".

 Rahul Gandhi will reportedly take a trip to Europe as soon as he completes the two days tour of Kerala and Tamil Nadu. In order to engage with university students, the Indian diaspora and European Union Parliamentarians, the Congress leader will be in Belgium, France and Norway for two weeks in September.

 According to a report by NDTV, the Maharashtra Congress chief Nana Patole said that Rahul Gandhi would also be taking a second leg of the "Bharat Jodo Yatra" from Gujarat to Meghalaya.
