Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that internship work is a confluence of Gyan (knowledge), Bhakti (devotion) and Karma (action). By joining this, the youth are starting a new chapter of their lives. Your internship will prove to be a milestone in the progress and development of the state. It is the largest internship programme in the world. People from all over the world have joined the programme. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was addressing the inaugural programme of CM Interns Bootcamp, Mukhya Mantri Youth Internship Programme (Mukhya Mantri Jan Seva Mitra) at Police Ground, Nehru Nagar. The programme was organised by the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Good Governance and Policy Analysis. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan distributed appointment letters to selected youths in the Mukhya Mantri Youth Internship Programme. In the programme, AIGGPA signed MoU with eight different institutions.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has become the most popular leader of the world. Under his leadership, the country is forging new steps of development. The Prime Minister is running many schemes and doing amazing work. Today, India looks eye to eye with other countries of the world. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that all this is becoming possible due to our self-confidence and hard work. Youth should also work with self-confidence. He said that there are two types of people, people who are desperate and the other types who make the impossible possible. He told the youth not to let despair dominate them, work with full self-confidence. Work hard in the field to deliver the benefits of the government schemes and development works to the people.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan told the youth that we will give you the monitoring of welfare schemes for the poor in the state. There should be no gap in the implementation of schemes. Everyone should co-operate for this. Many schemes like Mukhya Mantri Medhavi Vidyarthi Protsahan Yojana, Ration Aapke Gram, Ayushman Bharat are going on in the state. Ensure proper ground implementation of the schemes, no one should be deprived of the benefits of the schemes.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that earlier the condition of roads in the state was bad. It was not known whether there is a road in potholes or there are potholes in the road. Now a network of excellent roads has been laid. The capacity of irrigation has increased from 7.5 lakh hectare to 45 lakh hectare. We are a state with surplus electricity. The power capacity in the state has increased from 2900 MW to 26 thousand MW.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan asked the youth who are you. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan, while answering himself, said that I am trying to walk on the path shown by Swami Vivekananda. Swami Vivekananda had said that you are not just a dummy of three and a half hands made of blood and flesh, you are a storehouse of infinite powers. There is no work in the world that you cannot do. There is a need for self-confidence.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan asked the youth to set the target and make roadmaps and walk honestly on it. Fill yourself with self-confidence. Do not take the work of internship lightly. Each intern will be allotted 3-4 panchayats, which can be changed. The training given to the collector in the field is being given to you. This will develop your personality and boost self-confidence. Work with everyone as equal. Never boast, go to the area with humility. Changes in the development of the state have to be made, the obstacles that come in it, face them patiently. You are young, you can do great work by trying to find a way with patience. Have enthusiasm and zeal, never be disappointed. If you do not get success, try again. He said that to succeed, you have to mold yourself according to new situation.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that earlier 912 daughters were being born per 1 thousand sons in the state. Now this ratio has increased to 956. The total ratio of female and male in the state has increased to 976. Ladli Laxmi Yojana and Mukhya Mantri Kanya Vivah Yojana have been launched to ensure that there is no discrimination between son and daughter.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that internship will give good governance to Madhya Pradesh. Co-operation will be available in government works. This is a chance to show your talent and learn. Take training in a manner, which will prove to be very important for future life. We can rule the world on the strength of our knowledge and skills. Government recruitments are going on for one lakh 14 thousand posts.
Vice Chairman of Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Good Governance and Policy Analysis, Prof. Sachin Chaturvedi, said that an internship programme has been started at Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Good Governance. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan has implemented many programmes in the state. The youths have the important responsibility to bring the benefits of development to all the beneficiaries. Young interns expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Shri Chouhan and also shared their life experiences.
More than 4 thousand 600 interns attended the programme. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan gave the message of cleanliness by picking up the garbage spread in the ground at the venue.
