Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has emphasized the importance of ensuring widespread access to Ayushman health cards during a recent 'Janata Darshan' program. Responding to concerns raised by approximately 300 individuals, the chief minister instructed officials to prioritize the timely and satisfactory resolution of people's issues, as reported by PTI.
In an official statement, Adityanath pledged comprehensive support for medical treatment through the Chief Minister's Discretionary Fund, extending assistance to every eligible individual. Acknowledging the challenges faced by those without Ayushman cards, he directed officials to estimate the treatment costs for such individuals and facilitate their care in major hospitals.
Upon hearing about a woman's daughter facing a serious illness without an Ayushman card, Adityanath promptly instructed officials to ensure the patient's admission to either SGPGI or KGMU in Lucknow. Simultaneously, he urged officials to prepare a detailed estimate of the expenses for government consideration.
Highlighting the need for urgency, the chief minister emphasized the prioritization of Ayushman Health Cards for those in immediate need. Additionally, he addressed complaints related to the police and revenue departments, urging district-level officers to swiftly resolve issues to prevent unnecessary hardships for the public.
Adityanath concluded by asserting that any laxity in addressing people's problems would not be tolerated, underscoring the government's commitment to efficient governance and responsive public service.
