Moreover the house is built exactly the way we wanted it to be. Luckily the area has remained unaffected by the normal problems residential colonies face in Delhi. No huge gates have been built around for security purposes. The power seldom goes off and you never need a generator here. The only inconvenience is that there’s no good market in the vicinity. For vegetables and grocery, one has to go to Khan Market, INA or Sarojini Nagar. In a way it’s good that there are no markets, temples or schools around.
No buses ply near S.P. Marg. It makes the place very quiet; it’s easy to walk around. It’s also very green and the temperature is nearly 3.5 degrees lower than the rest of Delhi. It’s also a very safe place to live in but then it’s not a true picture of Delhi.
