  • the National Knowledge Commission does not focus only, or mainly, on the formal sector of knowledge
  • elite institutions must receive support, but not at the cost of others
  • small-town colleges, polytechnics, ITIS are strengthened. They must constitute the backbone of our technological infrastructure.
  • the agricultural crisis and farmers' suicides should have put the search for sustainable solutions top of the list on the policymakers' table. This hasn't happened.
