Some affairs end with vows, some in heartbreak and some in an ICU wedding. This happened in Pune district to a man, who had allegedly forced a woman into a physical relationship and then refused to marry her as she was from a lower caste, prompting her to swallow poison. As she was rushed to the ICU, some people dragged the man to the ICU and forced him to exchange garlands, thus solemnising the ‘wedding’. But some bonds don’t last for seven lives—the groom disappeared after three days and the bride filed a rape case against him. Happily ever-afters, however, were exchanged in Madhya Pradesh, where a man remarried his wife of nine years, and married her cousin as well—with her consent, of course. Why? The wife was not doing well and needed help to take care of her three children.
