Suspended Death

Bihar’s education department often demonstrates its long association with suspended animation. Remember Ruby Rai, the 2016 class 12 arts topper, who said she studied “prodikal science”, a subject dealing with cooking? The department recently suspended teachers for not checking answer sheets of the class 12 final exams. The list includes Ranjeet Kumar Yadav of Begusarai, who had died two years ago!
