Afghanistan continued their sensational 2023 ODI Cricket World Cup campaign with a comfortable seven-wicket win against Sri Lanka in Pune on Monday. With three wins -- all against former champions -- in six matches, they remain in contention for a semi-final spot. The Afghans had previously defeated England and Pakistan. In reply, Rahmat Shah, skipper Hashmatullah Shahidi and Azmatullh Omarzai hit fifties as the Afghans reached the target in 45.2 overs.
