The Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Olympic Shooting Complex in Kuwait City will host the continental competition from January 14 to 21, and offers eight Olympic quota places. As a country can secure a maximum of 24 quota spots - eight each in rifle, pistol and shotgun events - the Indian shotgun athletes will be raring to take India as close to that mark as possible.

India's Bhowneesh Mendiratta (men's trap) and Rajeshwari Kumari (women's trap) have already bagged shotgun quotas for Paris Olympics.
