The result means that Bangladesh's chances of making it to the semi-finals are effectively over after suffering their fifth consecutive loss in six games. The Dutch have won two in six matches but they will take heart from the fact that they have tamed two Test-playing sides. They had defeated South Africa by 38 runs in Dharamsala earlier in the tournament.
