BCCI also hopes to complete all related acquisitions ahead of the three-match ODI series against the visiting Australians in September.
The current broadcast deal with Star Sports ended in March 2023.
The Indian team is scheduled to play three one-day matches against the Kangaroos before the ODI World Cup, which is scheduled to commence in October 5 and will last till November 19.
Additionally, Shah added that India's planned series against Afghanistan in September has been postponed to January next year.
Shah also confirmed India cricket team's participation in the Hangzhou Asian Games later this year, with both men's and women's teams competing for the gold.
"We are going to participate in the Asian Games. The Apex Council has approved the participation of our men's and women's teams," Shah said.
He also added that a proposition was made by Grant Thornton, a sports management firm, to repair 10 of the 12 stadiums that are scheduled to host the World Cup matches.
