The game was abandoned due to rain. Chasing a 124-run target, hosts Scotland needed just 25 more runs to win when rain came bucketing down and play never resumed.
Earlier, Scotland bowled Oman out for just 123 runs in 38 overs with Jasper Davidson picking four wickets, and two of those coming in the last over. Brandon McMullen and Mark Watt picked up two, while Jack Jarvis bagged one.
For Oman, it was Zeeshan Maqsood who top scored with 40 to his name, with skipper Aqib Ilyas contributing 23.
ICC Men's Cricket World Cup League Two is in its second edition. It is a qualification process for the next ODI World Cup. The top four out of the eight teams will qualify directly for the tournament to be played in South Africa, Namibia and Zimbabwe.
