Olympic champion Neeraj Chopra became the first Indian to win the Diamond League Finals, with a best throw of 88.44m in the men's javelin event. Olympic silver medallist Jakub Vadlejch of the Czech Republic finished second which he registered in his fourth attempt. Julian Weber of Germany was third.
