England have won the toss and have opted to field against Australia in the fourth Ashes Test.

Australia still lead the five-match series 2-1 after losing the previous Test at Headingley. The visitors are without the services of Nathan Lyon and have decided to pick a pacer instead of regular spinner, Todd Murphy. 

As for England, James Anderson is back in the playing eleven. Just to note, no side has won a Test match at Old Trafford when opting to bowl first.
